What to Expect

Learn more about what to expect when attending one of our Sunday morning worship services.

Order of Worship

We use a combination of scripture readings, historic creeds, prayers, catechism questions, and songs to help us encounter God and receive His covenant blessings through worship. We also prioritize expository preaching of the word–studying, meditating on, and learning more about the scriptures chapter by chapter.

Our service incorporates an array of worship songs, ranging from traditional hymns to contemporary Christian music. We use a variety of instrumentation from piano and guitar to saxophone, drum, and even bassoon! We attempt to blend the best music from all time periods and styles into worship that glorifies God well and encourages congregational singing.

It’s important to us that we provide an environment where children are invited to participate in worship as much as they are able. We welcome the sounds of little ones in worship, and view them as the sounds of the next generation of believers!

Sunday School

We offer Sunday School classes for all ages after our worship service. Topics vary from semester to semester, but past classes have included Bible study of specific books and book studies on various topics ranging from social justice to marriage.
