Children's & Youth Ministries
Our children's and youth ministries aim to offer a safe and nurturing environment where children and youth feel loved, cared for, and encouraged as we constantly point them to Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Nursery & Children's Church
We provide activities and lessons for children of all ages at Hope. Kids aged 0-3 are welcome in our nursery, which is available throughout the worship hour. During the sermon, we provide Children’s Church for those aged 4 through kindergarten to learn about Jesus at a developmentally appropriate level.
Sunday School
We provide classes for kids of all ages during our Sunday School hour, while parents attend adult classes. The topics of study vary, but are always centered around God’s Word and the building blocks of faith. Past classes have included studying the attributes of God, church history, God’s promises, and many other topics.
Community Playdates
Our children’s ministry conducts regular community-wide playdates here at Hope for kids from around Smithfield to play and develop friendships, while parents and caregivers can also fellowship and engage with each other. If you are (or someone you know is) interested in attending, contact the church office to find out more.
Ylife
Our youth group is geared towards 7th-12th graders. They have regular Sunday evening meetings, and also go on a retreat once each semester to develop friendships and grow in faith as a group.
