Staff & Leaders

As a member of the Presbyterian Church in America, Hope is “elder-led.” This means that our elders actively shepherd and oversee our congregation, under the guidance and authority of our Presbytery (a group of churches in our region). Under the leadership of the elders, our deacons are responsible for carrying out the practical ministry of the church (including things like facilities management, budgeting, and mercy ministries). Our staff is responsible for implementing the vision of the elders on a day-to-day basis.

Elders

Our elders lead as the shepherds and overseers of the church. As servant leaders following the example of our Good Shepherd, the Lord Jesus, elders offer spiritual care, prayer, and teaching while directing and governing the church as a whole. This group of men includes the pastor along with others who serve as ruling elders.

Deacons

Our deacons act as the hands and feet of our Servant Lord Jesus. As lead servants, they are responsible for carrying out the practical ministry of the church (including things like facilities management, budgeting, congregational care and mercy ministries).
