The mission of Hope Presbyterian Church is, “to glorify and enjoy God by: Exalting Him in worship, Equipping His disciples to be complete in Christ, Encouraging one another to follow hard after Christ, Expanding His glorious kingdom on earth.”

To help us achieve our mission as a Church the Elder’s have given us three goals for 2010. The goals can be summarized in the slogan ‘From Mission to Missions’. Hope started in March, 2008 as a Mission Church. That means we receive money and support from other Churches in order to operate. In 2010 we don’t want to be just a mission Church, we want to be a Church that does missions and supports missions efforts throughout our community and beyond. We want to become a Church that impacts our community with the power of the Gospel. We want to go from being a church that receives support from the outside, to a church to gives support to the cause of missions in our community, and to the world. We want to go from being a mission church, to a church that actively engages in missions.

To that end here are three goals for 2010:

1. That Hope Presbyterian would have a greater presence in the community in 2010 compared to an assessment of a 2009 baseline.
2. Grow Small Group ministry by 50% over the 2009 baseline.
3. To become a self-sustaining Church which is Particularized by the end of 2010. That our Church would become clear of the founding start-up support and stand totally self-sustaining in budget and in leadership.

Our leadership teams (which include the prayer, C.E., worship, outreach, connecting, & administrative teams) are going to be coming up with events, activities, and ideas that are all geared to helping us achieve these three goals and ultimately the mission of our Church. This exciting work is not just for the teams to participate in. You may be called on to help, come up with ideas, and volunteer in order for us to achieve our 2010 goals. In fact, we want you to actively participate in helping Hope achieve these goals. For you that might be it's time to join a leadership team or get involved in some way.  Please pray for Hope as we plan and consider how best to achieve these goals. Pray that God would bless us as we seek to honor him through Worship and all that we do as a Church.
